Built around kindness, guided by safety
Kindness By Mail helps children send and receive real letters through a parent-guided, reviewed mail process. Every letter comes to our PO Box first, and approved letters are forwarded with privacy and safety in mind.
A note from our family
Kindness By Mail started from something we saw in our own family.
Our daughter has always struggled with writing, but writing letters to someone she cared about made a huge difference. It gave her a reason to slow down, think about her words, and practice writing in a way that felt meaningful.
Holding a real letter in her hands made the whole experience feel special. She loved sending a letter, waiting for a reply, and receiving something personal in return.
We wanted other children to experience that same joy: sending real letters, receiving thoughtful mail, and learning that their words can brighten someone else’s day.
But we also knew that anything involving children and communication has to be handled carefully. That is why Kindness By Mail is built around parent involvement, reviewed letters, private home addresses, and a careful process that puts children’s safety at the center.

Why we exist
